Entire invitation: 45 x 0.96=$43.20
RSVP stamp: 45 x 0.52=$23.40
Total: $66.60 (approx GBP 33.30)
Had I posted them from the UK and had the RSVPs come back to us:
Entire invitation: 45 x $2.44 (GBP 1.22) = $109.80
RSVP stamp: 45 x $1.60 (GBP 0.80) = $72.00
Total: $181.8 (approx GBP 90.90)
Savings = $115.20 (GBP 57.60)
It's not enough to rationalize the recent trip back to Canada, but I was able to bring a lot of stuff over (thus saving us some luggage space come October) and seeing Nana and the family was priceless...
My FAVORITE part of the whole stamp-buying process was the fact that Canada Post has just issued stamps to commerate the 100th anniversary of the publication of Anne of Green Gables. I will admit that I was quite a geek as a child and was rather obsessed with the Anne books.

Here I am with my sister at Green Gables during a family trip to Prince Edward Island. I honestly thought I had died and gone to heaven...
Anywho, I think the stamp looks rather cute on the RSVP envelope.

The 96 cents stamp is also quite pretty, so props to Canada Post!

I am experiencing some major stamp envy right now. I hate all of the stamps that the USPS has out right now and am crossing my fingers for something better to come up soon.
Love the shot of you back in the day, what a cutie you were!
Goregous envelops! And 3 cheers for Anne! Everything is coming along swimmingly!

Envelopes look lovely! And I am totally jealous of the Anne stamps- I was also apparantely a nerd when younger as I also loved those books! :)
